For our journey home we decided to take a slow run down through the spine of England. We started out in brilliant sunshine, but as we got onto 'the tops' dark clouds envelopped us and drizzle set in. We saw quite a few moorland birds, and I couldn't resist a few shots, in spite of the appalling light!
